This is a must! Great hospitality, great food! We were road tripping and wanted to get off the high way and away from all the usual chains, this spot right here hot the spot. We had the BBQ platter and Pork chops ! It was so good. Also, the sides we had, esp the black-eyed peas, were amazing - my partner is not usually a fan of black-eyed peas, but she ate both of our servings.
Amazing! A gem nestled in what appears to be a hardware store that goes along side an auto service shop. A Dove's bbq food window to the far right does not capture the full vibe of the place. It's truly a surprise as you walk in the hardware store doors. Huge open space with beautiful wooden picnic style tables, a lounge area and a gift shop area. The atmosphere was great, and the place was clean and comfy. The pit boss and all the ladies were super friendly. Now for the food.. Oh. Mee. Gee. Delish! I had the hillbilly BBQ with coleslaw. It had such great flavor and the corn bread in place of bread.. yum! It was a filling meal, by far. Hush puppies were so good, our 1yr old was gobbling them up. Our eldest enjoyed her chicken tenders. Hubby said his bbq platter, was amazing and it left him satisfied. The potato salad was yummy, wish I had gotten a side of that for myself!! If we lived closer, this bbq spot is a place I'd be frequenting. Hands down one of the best places we took a "chance" on. Thumbs up great! 6 stars if I could. Prices are reasonable and service was absolutely wonderful!

The place was great. I went on Thursday March the 20th at around 5 o'clock, I had the bacon cheeseburger with a side of chicken tenders. The bacon cheeseburger was fantastic and I was even given ranch to dip my burger in when I asked. The chicken strips were not as crispy as I would have liked, but I later learned that this was my fault as I was unaware that I was supposed to specify that I wanted them to be very crispy and crunchy, the chicken strips were still enjoyable despite the lack of crunch The place was very homey, it had a wonderful and original design that I highly appreciated compared to most other restaurants which tend to be soulless with no real design Kaylub was a wonderful employee, made me feel very welcome as well as his sister, Jane. Overall the service was amazing, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was amazing
Drove over 2 hours to the area and was hungry for something local. Their Facebook page had advertised an ultimate grilled cheese and their Philly Cheesesteak looked so good, got both. You know how other places advertise a grilled cheese sandwich that doesn’t look like what’s pictured? This place does it right, excellent portion for the price. The Philly cheesesteak was hot and the fries, crispy. My niece ordered the cheeseburger and liked it as well. Walking into this restaurant is so much room, the atmosphere is perfect for a group and even has a relaxing area to hang out longer if you’d like to read a book. Plenty of merch to look at their small shop of items. They had clothing, jewelry, and variety of local products. I’m definitely coming back to try something new.
Me and my wife absolutely love going here to eat, we tend to eat here at least twice a week & the atmosphere makes it feel like we are at home. The cooks and waitresses are amazing. If you have food allergies please don't let that turn you away because they will do whatever it takes to make sure you're able to eat. I've tried just about everything on the menu and it's absolutely delicious and the taste don't never change, seems like it gets better and better and the prices are unbeatable
The price is good for what you get. Bbq is awesome and the sides are awesome, that potato salad is something special.
Every single dining and take out experience with Dove’s has been amazing! We not only enjoy their food, but we LOVE their family atmosphere. My son is a picky eater and he enjoys eating so many items he wouldn’t usually from Dove’s. The owners and their family have our business always. My husband says their bbq is the best and they truly are generous with all their food as well!! Try a pork chop sandwich...with my allergies I have trouble finding places I can eat but thankfully they are so understanding and accommodating of that as well! Don’t forget to try their sweet tea and a good Arnold Palmer!...peach cobbler comes with the beef tips special.
